Skepta featuring JME - #ThatsNotMe
Some of the kids at SCOTTY2HOTTY69 were handed the assignment of creating a “music video” for their multimedia workshop final project. They borrowed the school’s camera and came up with this.
Their show at the Barbican was shut down by the police but they’ll be announcing something new at 4pm tomorrow.
JUST JAM BARBICAN CANCELLATION PRESS RELEASE FROM DONTWATCHTHAT.TV
It’s with great regret that we have to announce that the Just Jam event at the Barbican has been cancelled.
We wanted to put on an evening celebrating a diverse range of electronic music and art and are very disappointed that concerns raised by the City of London police mean that the event has been called off. We’re struggling to understand why this has happened and will try to start a dialogue with the police so we can discuss whatever issues they have with Just Jam at the Barbican.
The workshops we’ve recently ran with the Barbican in Fellows Court in Hackney have shown how the artists we work with can get young people from all backgrounds excited about making art and music, we hope to continue working on this and on other projects, with the Barbican in the future.
Sorry to disappoint ticket bookers, we had sold over 1000 tickets to the event and it was widely expected to sell out. All ticket holders will receive a full refund from the Barbican If you paid by credit or debit card the refund will be automatically credited to your account. If you paid by any other method you will receive a cheque.
Once again we would like to thank everyone who have been involved in this project. We have some very exciting projects coming up.
